Quality Assurance Unit - Q.A.U.
The Quality Assurance Unit (QAU or MODIP) of the Technical University of Crete is the central coordinating body for all quality assurance and evaluation procedures of the Institution and it is responsible for the organization and implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (I.Q.A.S.) of the Institution, following the strategic goals of the Institution, international practices, especially those of the European Higher Education Area, and the principles and directions of the H.A.H.E. (former A.D.I.P.). The formation, organization, operation and responsibilities of the QAU are determined by the decision of the Institution's Senate.

The structure, organization and operation of the QAU (MODIP) of the Technical University of Crete was approved at the 544/23.12.2020 meeting of the Senate and published in the Government Gazette ΦΕΚ 6092/τ. Β'/31.12.2020.

The Quality Policy of the Technical University of Crete
The Quality Policy of the Technical University of Cete was revised following a recommendation by Quality Assurance Unit Committee at the 674th 15.07.2026 meeting of the Senate, aiming to support and achieve the goals set by the Institution's Strategic Plan for the period 2026-2030.
